Hybrigenics focuses its research on inhibitors of ubiquitin-specific proteases in cancer Dutch subsidiary sells non-core research patents
Paris, February 20, 2007 - Hybrigenics announces today that it is concentrating its research efforts on ubiquitin-specific proteases (USPs) and their inhibitors in cancer. Consequently, Hybrigenics has divested the patent portfolio of Semaia, its Dutch subsidiary, on the Wnt-pathway and the EPAC targets.

Hybrigenics acquires worldwide rights to inecalcitol, a vitamin D analogue
Paris, February 7, 2006. - Hybrigenics SA announced that it has acquired a license for the worldwide exclusive rights to inecalcitol, a synthetic analogue of vitamin D, for all clinical indications. Hybrigenics intends to focus on an oral formulation to develop inecalcitol in cancer indications, such as advanced androgen-independent prostate cancer, and expects this acquisition to rapidly move its R&D pipeline towards clinical development.

NiKem Research Srl and Hybrigenics SA Significantly Expand their Research Service Agreement in the Oncology Area
Milan and Paris— May 10th, 2005 - NiKem Research Srl and Hybrigenics SA announced today that they have expanded and extended a Research Service Agreement already in place between the two companies. Under the terms of the agreement, NiKem will continue using its medicinal chemistry platform and expertise to optimize inhibitors of Ubiquitin Specific Proteases (USP) as new therapeutic agents against cancer. This family of proteases has been the focus of thorough target identification and validation studies by Hybrigenics in the field of Oncology.
 

Hybrigenics starts phase 2 trial, Inecalcitol-CT2 , in hormone-refractory prostate cancer .

The first patient has been treated in France on November 7, 2007 at the European Hospital Georges Pompidou in Paris.
